Steamers win despite trying to give it away in the thirdPosted by: Brent in Game Updates
Some might argue that the breakaways in the third might have been a little more common than usual. I might be one of those people. Some might also argue that it could have been worse, had I not, at least for this last game, started coming out to tackle some guys before getting schooled. Ken called it “aggressive.” That’s a good word for it. I call it “having a headache driving home.”
In other news, while writing this article, I googled the terms “hockey collapse” to try and find some appropriate graphics to stuff in the post and found this image of smokin’ hot Dutch field hockey player Ellen Hoog. So I figured I’d stuff her in the post too. Enjoy. Tags: Badenovs, Botches, Ellen Hoog, girls, goalie, hot foreign chicks, Regular Season, sexy, sillies, Win

Slovakia’s women’s ice hockey team is better than we arePosted by: Brent in Time Wasters![]() Penthouse Pet Kyla Cole with her Slovakian flag Seriously? No mercy rules in Slovakia? We need to get Bulgaria in here to have an exhibition match against the Steamers. Might make us feel better about ourselves. Or maybe worse – they probably would beat us. Tags: Bulgaria, girls, sexy, SlovakiaThe University of Kentucky really has the right idea on this one. I know more about UK hockey than I know about any other hockey program in the country. Marketing genius. Why can’t the NHL pick up something like this? Any ideas for how to get really hot girls into some Steamers jerseys? For once, people might not complain that they’re too small.

The Steamers managed to lock up at least fourth place in their division, along with a playoff spot, by beating the Rampage 4-2 last Monday. And for once, I didn’t give up any goals in the third period. Really, what else could you ask for? Since the answer to that question is obvious, I posted another picture of Hayden Panettiere hugging the Stanley Cup. I heard she will hug me too if we win a few playoff games.
