… and Lindsay Lohan will be there. I guess she is excited about seeing our rematch against the first place Badenovs. It should be quite an adventure. Russ is a healthy scratch (or unhealthy depending on how much Mexican water he’s consumed by now), but everybody else should be there.
In less exciting news, there are a bunch of new stats posted on the site, so take a look around and see if you can figure out who’s getting cut next season (cough… goalie… cough…)

In a moment remeniscient of Russ (back in the days before Russ turned 15), Brent was caught dumping half of his precious Bud Light into a trash can. Was this a straight up case of alcohol abuse? You decide.
Brent did manage to finish a complete beer before wasting Chas’s money and destroying the team’s parking lot morale.
It’s unfortunate that on nights when the Steamers win, Brent still loses.

Bobby Orr
The Steamers pulled off another close win last night against the Golden Seals, beating them 3-2. Once again we played fairly well for such a short bench. That puts us on a 5 game unbeaten streak and a few games above .500. Much better than earlier this season.
In other news, I finished a bunch of code for some statistics, so take a look at some of the individual stats posted now. More to come.

The dynamic schedule page is now working. It is available from the menu at the top of the page. I’ll keep it updated, and eventually, we’ll have the stats working.

If you are on the team, or a fan of the team, feel free to register for an account. This will allow you to leave comments (and eventually post things when I get the rest of this set up). You can register for an account by clicking here.
Use a real email address, because the automated system sends you a password which you can then change. Your email address will not be published. Also keep in mind that I need to approve the account, so it may take a while for you to receive the password email – I do have a real job, you know…
Finally, if you are on the team, and would like your own SteamersHockey.com email address, let me know and I’ll set you up with that.

I’m still in the process of getting the site set up. This will be the spot for you to keep up with all your Steamers hockey news. Stay tuned for more to come.
